Meet The Staff
Dr. Johnston
Dr Johnston grew up in Charlotte North Carolina. He graduated from South Meck High School. After high school he enlisted in the Navy. After completing his first tour in the Navy Dr. J attended Middle Tennessee State University, where he earned his B.S. in Aerospace and completed his prerequisites for Dental School. He attended the University of Tennessee Health Science Center where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1995. He then returned to the Navy as a dentist and was stationed at Cherry Point serving the Marines Corps. In 1998 Dr. Johnston purchased Dr. Dan Wilson’s practice. In his spare time Dr. J enjoys his family, motorcycles and surfing at the beach.

Courteney
Dawn
Dawn is from Belmont, NC and has worked front desk for Dr. Johnston since 2016. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, dogs, reading, antiquing, and spending time outdoors.
Bonnie
Bonnie is from Gastonia, NC. She enjoys reading, traveling, and her 2 fur babies. She has an adult daughter who lives in Roanoke, VA whom she visits often. She works front desk and has been with Dr. Johnston since 2022.
Charlie Brown
Charlie Brown Johnston is our office mascot and patient stress reliever. He has a fondness for personal protective equipment.

Cindy
Cindy is from Dallas, NC and has been a dental assistant since 2004. Cindy has worked for Dr. Johnson since 2008. She has been married to her husband since 1985 and has 2 children (one of which is Courteney the office manager) and 2 grandchildren. Her hobbies include reading, shopping, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Taylor
Taylor is from Dallas, NC. She has been with Dr. Johnston since 2015 as a DAII. Taylor has been married to her husband since 2021 and they two beautiful girls. In her free time, she enjoys the lake and spending time with family and friends.
Christy
Christy is from Belmont, NC and has been a dental hygienist with Dr. Johnston since 2016. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, cooking, and watching her favorite teams Duke and the Panthers.
Dawn
Dawn is from Clover, SC and has been a hygienist since 2004. She has been married to her husband Jason since 2004 and enjoys watching their son Dane play many different sports. In her free time Dawn enjoys napping and cheering on the Gamecocks.
